Is USAImmigrationSupport.com a Scam?

UPDATE:

After reading many similar stories, I checked with the Illinois Attorney General’s office and the Better Business Bureau:

There are at least 70 complaints about their services, ranging from not paying for work done for them to – and this is more serious – defrauding people who tried to use their services by taking the money and doing nothing.

The address they have given turns out to be a condo building where no one seems to know who they are.

Still, the guy is on my Skype address, active.

How slow the winds of justice turn!

 

 

Dealing with legal matters over the internet is a risky proposition. You’d expect those websites to give you accurate information and abide by the law, wouldn’t you? Not so with UsAImmigrationsupport.com.

I’ve been writing articles for websites for a few years now. The pay I get for articles is not very high. It’s hard work but I love writing. So when a representative of usaimmigrationsupport.com asked me to help them revamp their site and help them spread the word, I happily obliged.
The communication was done via Skype, and they seemed very happy with the results and pressed me to do more and more in a short time. Broker401 is their code name.

I started writing for them and they seemed very happy and asked for more. They would transfer the payment to my PayPal.

And so it went.

A month later, all their deposits into my PayPal account bounced. The amount is not high enough for a lawyer to take a look, but high enough to make a dent in my economics.

All my attempts to contact them were rebuffed. E mails were not answered, the Skype account was blocked. When I called the company and they found out who I was, they went to “look into it” and finally disconnected.

So, I am asking you – would you do any legal business with a website like usaimmigrationsupport.com? Can you trust them with legal matters as important as immigration? Can it be that usaimmigrationsupport.com is nothing but a get rich quick scam, run by dishonest people?

    Well, they are in Chicago. If you live there you can do us all a favor by going there and facing the guy. since I, and others, were scammed through PayPal, I wrote them a letter, which was supposed to be answered within 72 hours, over a month ago… No word from PayPal yet even though I sent an additional e mail.
    Everyone is dropping the ball and the scams go on…

My husband is applying for citizenship and somehow we were redirected to the usaimmigrationsupport.com website to process his N-400 application online. The official USCIS site and their site look deceptively similar so we didn’t question it. We paid the $680 fee which is the norm, received an e-mail indicating the application was in process, but got nothing else. Later I discovered countless testimonials from subcontrators and immigrants who were duped by them, including yourself. My husband is a patriotic, hardworking, law-abiding, resident of the U.S. and wants nothing more to become a citizen. We both feel betrayed and dejected. Since then, however, I have started a campaign against this company. First, by filing a formal complaint with the Federal Trade Commission which is beginning to crack down on immigration website fraud and has brought several companies to court. I also sent a formal complaint to the Illinois Attorney General’s office. The last thing I am doing is writing and meeting with my Congress representative with whom I have a direct connection to and is very sympathetic to the immigrant plight. I urge you to file complaints as well. The FTC has an easy to use online form and provides you with a case number. The Illinois Attorney General’s office has a .pdf or .doc form you can fill out and send in. Thought restitution is not guaranteed, I know that if enough of us contact the right people, an investigation can be started and we may see these crooks brought to justice. That is worth $680 for me and my husband.

      They got me for $680 exactly the same way.
      I did get redirected from one of their email return addresses to the BBB, and this Co has 68 law suits filed so far by the Illinois Attorney General.
      Make that 69 law suits, I just filed mine with the BBB and the Illinois Attorney General.
